Mates Matter NZ

Nau mai, haere mai ki MATES Matter NZ!

In light of the concerning suicide statistics for men and rangatahi (young people) in New Zealand, we have established MATES Matter NZ. Our organisation is dedicated to providing mental wellness and suicide prevention programmes and resources in the Waikato region. Our primary goal is to expand the available support options and facilitate life-supporting conversations among individuals.

At the core of MATES Matter NZ lies our commitment to tailoring suicide prevention approaches to the unique needs of workplaces and communities in the Waikato region.

By doing so, we contribute to the development of life-affirming communities that foster meaningful connections among people.
